Meet some of the people who've done something incredible for us recently.
Nadia Unal from London decided to do a sponsored head shave for The Brain Charity as she has a family member with multiple sclerosis and she herself was diagnosed with epilepsy, so this is a charity which is dear to her heart. Nadia also kindly donated her long hair to a charity called 'Little Princess Trust' that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness. She raised a fantastic £1,503.90 for The Brain Charity and got an amazing new look too!
Ileen Smith put on an awareness week for The Brain Charity in her hometown of Birmingham. She even went on her local radio station to tell the listeners all about the charity and the work we do. The week was topped off with a Ladies Pamper & Awareness Evening (pictured) which raised almost £200 on the night.
Liz & Harry Tunnicliffe
Our volunteer Liz Tunnicliffe and her husband Harry held another of their popular garden party and plant sales for us in August. These events have become a highlight of our calendar over recent years and there was an excellent turnout of friends, family and neighbours on the day. Liz & Harry raised over £650 for The Brain Charity with their event - blooming marvellous!
