The Colourful Brain

#210 by The Brain Charity
The Colourful Brain was created by The Brain Charity
A poem written on the occasion of The Head Matters Tea Party 2019 by Brenda Tillston, Keith Rowlands and Anna Rose. Workshop facilitated by Gregory Kearns.

The mood you’re in when you get out of bed,
be ready to face the day ahead.
Look out into the garden to see the birds,
it’s so beautiful I’m lost for words.

Creativity makes you think,
keeps your grey cells in the pink.

The morning will be over before we know it,
the sun will be high for us to feel it.
Walking over leaves, to get into town,
they’re no longer golden just dirty brown.

Creativity makes you think,
keeps your grey cells in the pink.

If you’ve spent the minutes and hours well,
what kind of story could you tell?
Let your brain give of its best,
before you let it rest, rest, rest.

Creativity makes you think,
keeps your grey cells in the pink.
