Coronavirus update

The Brain Charity is supporting action to slow the spread of the coronavirus/COVID-19, so

most of our our events, classes and workshops are currently on hold following the latest guidance from Public Health England.

We are in the process of setting up weekly group chats (by telephone or skype) for anyone who is self-isolating

We will update our website as things change, so please bookmark this page to stay in the loop.

European Neuro Convention 2020

Following the success of 2019, The Brain Charity is delighted to have been invited back to the European Neuro Convention this year. The 2020 event will be held at the Birmingham NEC on the 9th and 10th November. This is an accessible event that’s open to all, not just medical professionals! With a special focus on rehabilitation, diagnostics, brain stimulation and mental health, this promises to be an interesting and informative event.

Music workshops for those living with dementia at The Brain Charity

According to a 2018 commission on Dementia and Music, there is now “…emerging evidence to suggest that music may help to delay the onset of dementia and improve brain function and information recall”

Ataxia North West Support Group meets at The Brain Charity in Liverpool

The April meeting has been cancelled in light of the Government's advice on coronavirus.

Ataxia NW offers support for anyone affected by Ataxia and their monthly meetings at The Brain Charity provide a chance to meet and share experiences as well as offering practical support.

Spinal Injuries Association meeting at The Brain Charity

The Merseyside support group of the Spinal Injuries Association is open to everyone touched by spinal cord injury within the North-West area.  The group meets from 2:30pm until 5pm on the first Wednesday of every month at The Brain Charity, Norton Street, Liverpool, L3 8LR.
