The Brain Charity is delighted to have been invited to take part in next year’s European Neuro Convention at Birmingham NEC, along with two of our trustees, Professor Gus Baker and Dr Nicholas Silver who will be keynote speakers at the event.
Professor Gus Baker will be speaking about the additional burden that having epilepsy places on those who have the condition from a psychological and neurological perspective and will consider the impact of living with the condition and how its treatment can be improved upon.
Dr Nicholas Silver will talk about how headaches are diagnosed and treated and will look at new ways of merging treatments to optimise successful outcomes.
Both of our trustees are experts in their field and have numerous publications relating to their specialisms. As many of you know their talks at our ‘Head Matters’ event during Brain Awareness week are always very popular and very often standing room only!
We will be hosting a stand in the main convention hall and it’s a great opportunity for us to showcase the work we do to a larger audience.
If you’d like to go along and visit the convention and listen to our trustees speak, it takes place on the 26th and 27th of March 2019 at Birmingham NEC and is completely free to attend.
