The Brain Charity

The Brain Charity celebrated its Pearl anniversary on November 22 2023 – marking 30 years of community activity locally and nationally on behalf of people with neurological conditions. 

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our Norton Street office for our AGM and to recognise this landmark achievement! 

CEO Pippa Sargent said: “In the last 30 years we have built a community we’re incredibly proud of, led by the experiences of our clients, volunteers and staff, and rooted in our physical community here in Liverpool and nationally. 

“Thirty years is an amazing milestone and recognises the hard work of countless individuals in that time to share stories, reduce stigma, champion neurodiversity and fight for a more inclusive society.” 

The occasion also marked the launch of the Brain Charity’s Neuro Gym – a specialist exercise, physiotherapy and rehabilitation space converted from the organisation’s former library to provide physiotherapy and rehabilitation opportunities for people in the local area with any neurological condition.
