The 3H Foundation
The 3H Foundation, formerly known as 3H Fund (Helping Hands for Holidays), has been operating for nearly 50 years supporting those with disabilities and carers to have holidays and short respite breaks.
Through partnerships with like-minded organisations, the foundation offers group holiday programmes, allowing people with disabilities to enjoy holidays independently from their daily carers. Families with a disabled family member can receive modest grants for UK holidays, and carers can apply for grants for respite periods.
The foundation also provides short respite breaks for adult carers, such as afternoon teas, pamper hampers, or spa days. Their TeensPLUS programme enables young people with disabilities and young carers aged 13 – 25 to take part in home-based activity challenges, receive a young carer hamper or a day out with a partner organisation.
