Walking with alpacas at Nanny Sharon’s Farm
We are excited to invite parent/carers and children with additional needs to a special family day out at Nanny Sharon’s Farm.
Join us for an unforgettable day where you can walk with alpacas, feed pygmy goats and meet other animals on the farm – including emus rabbits, parrots, meerkats.
We offer two free sessions:
- Morning session: 10:30 am to 11:30 am
- Afternoon session: 12 noon to 1:00 pm
Limited to 3 places per family (only one carer – unless child requires 2-1 care)
Accessibility:
Part of the venue is not suitable for children in buggies. There are 2 electric wheelchairs available for wheelchair users, please specify if you would need to use a wheelchair.
The entrance from the main road to the farm is the same entrance for Prenton Rugby Club. There is limited parking on the farm but plenty of parking on the road.
Children under 5 must share an alpaca with an adult on ratio of 1-1 children over 5 can walk their own alpaca (subject to availability).
Please arrive 15 mins prior to your session and have appropriate clothing for the weather (warm clothing/raincoat), plus wellies, or walking boots.
